In Moldova gasoline, beer and cigarettes can rise in price

The Ministry of Finance has decided to increase excises by some goods. According to officials, these measures will increase receipts in the budget
The new management has accustomed and has started to offer reforms for the blessing of the native land which (according to officials) will increase receipts in the budget.
The project developed by department, concerns excises, more truly, their increases. It is offered to increase gathering by alcohol, cigarettes, mineral oil, spirits. We have decided to ask directly economic agents, whether they know about the similar project and if know, whether that it is necessary to citizens to expect a fast rise in prices.
FUEL
Sharp rise in prices it is not expected
From the beginning of this year the price for the most popular mark of gasoline А-95 has grown more than on 30 %. According to representatives «Tirex Petrol», on refuellings the litre of gasoline А-95 costs 11,89 лея, А-92 — 11,49 лея. The prices at «Valiaexchimp» and other sellers of PETROLEUM PRODUCTS slightly differ. Recently has risen in price сжиженный gas: gasoline stations have raised the prices for 10 % - with 5,5 лея to 6 леев for litre. Experts named it the seasonal phenomenon and have connected with tendencies in the international market. In many countries of the Central Europe in a cold season сжиженный gas is used as alternative fuel, therefore and the price for it in the world market raises. And here about the price policy participants of the market especially do not extend.
Valentine БОДИШТЯНУ, the chairman of the Union of importers of mineral oil:
- Yes, I heard about these amendments to the Tax code, but I heard also that they assume not only increase of excises, but also VAT cancellation. If the value-added tax will cancel, importers only will be happy, both the prices for gasoline and solar oil remain former. If to us will increase excises and will change nothing, the prices for mineral oil will grow, it is natural in the conditions of the market.
Experts consider that if excises grow, and anything else will not exchange, most likely, mineral oil will rise in price on the average for 40 %, but the prices will rise not sharply, and gradually.

The excise is the state tax mainly on consumer goods, on municipal and transport services. More often the duty assesses alcoholic drinks, tobacco and tobacco products

On what it is offered to increase gathering?

The note: the Ministry of Finance suggests to enter in the list the goods which will be assessed with the excise, products from crystal: glasses, wine-glasses, fixtures, chandeliers. Their rate can make 55 % from cost. Besides, it is planned to increase excises by all mineral oil with 1800 to 2700 леев.
ALCOHOL
The alcohol will rise in price slightly
The prices for strong drinks at us the most different, all depends not only on preferences of citizens, but also from a contained purse. A bottle sparkling (0,75 l.) in shops of Kishinev it is possible to buy and for 25 леев, both for 30 and for 45 леев, all depends on the manufacturer. Vodka "Floor-litrushku" too at desire and economy can be found for 18-20 леев, domestic beer costs from 9 to 17 леев (a bottle of 0,5 l.), Ukrainian approximately as much. Have most of all raised excises on beer, it is less — on champagne and wine in bulk.
Alcohol will rise in price slightly — for 1,5-0,5 %, but any, even slight increase of the prices to buyers of pleasure will not add.
Is first "swallow", any increase of excises conducts to cost price growth, and people will choose then: to drink it good champagne or to buy cheap «шипучку», or in general to prefer wine on which excises do not lift, - representatives of the wine companies who already have familiarised with prospective reforms answer "Member of the Komsomol".
CIGARETTES
Sale of tobacco products can be reduced
Our, Moldavian cigarettes can be bought for 3,5 лея ("Rate", for example), import — from 5-8 леев and above. In tobacco booths — abundance, choose cigarettes what it is necessary for soul. (Manufacturers and importers) know the tobacco companies about prospective growth of excises, but this knowledge, as they say, «multiplies grief».
- Probably, the authorities have decided to reduce sale and manufacture of cigarettes in the country, - answer in the companies, recollecting «the tobacco convention» which our country some years ago has joined.
The prices can grow on 4-15 %, however, hardly rise in prices will discourage people to smoke.

1,63 billion леев - a total sum of receipts from excises in the state budget last year. Such data is resulted by the country Ministry of Finance. For January-September of this year in the budget from excises has arrived 1.1 billion леев.
